Ayr Racecourse - Has regular fixtures throughout the year. For a great day out visit in April for the 2008 Scottish Grand National.

Isle of Arran – A haven for walkers and climbers, take a boat trip from Adrossan and enjoy some great outdoor activities.

Culzean Castle – A 18th century castle stands within 500 acres of Country Park and gardens.

Kelburn Castle & Country Centre – A 13th century castle with deep gorges and waterfalls.

Golf Courses – It’s said that you can walk for 18 miles along the coast without ever leaving the links!

Kilmarnock - The largest town in East Ayrshire with some great shopping.

Directions From Glasgow, take the M77 and A77 towards Kilmarnock. At Kilmarnock take the A71 towards Irvine. Follow signs to Irvine to pick up the signs for Ardrossan. Join the A78 and follow the signs for Stevenston. Go through Stevenson, past the Auchenharvie Leisure Centre, then take the first left and follow the signs towards Sandylands Holiday Park, which is located on the left.
Please note there is a railway line adjacent to the park.
