Rimmer House (Nr. Preston)
Beautifully built out of local stone, it has stood the test of time well and still lingers with much nostalgia.
Jim the resident caretaker and owner has lived and worked at Rimmer House for many years working hard to develop the property’s character.
It is difficult to describe how unique Rimmer House is. You can only start to realise this as your drive past one of the most beautifully built stone walls the area has ever seen. (This by the way took 3 years to build).
As you drive into the entrance, which can only be described as stunning. The first thing you’ll realise about Rimmer House, is how clean and organised the whole site is.
I’ve designed the whole establishment with one thing in mind to make people feel safe, warm and welcome. Many hundred or probably thousands of people who have used my facility in the past, have said it’s a “Top Place” – They all can’t be wrong!
But the most important thing of all is the location. It’s bang in the centre of Lancashire.
Blackpool is only a stone’s throw away and so is Southport, and the beautiful and historic Ribble Valley with its unique history going back thousands of years. Manchester and the Trafford Centre is also only 20-25 minutes drive away.
But lastly yet the most important is the warmth and hospitality of Lancashire folk. Which is a tradition that goes back centuries and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
Kind Regards,
Jim Clayton
